Domestic Helpers Health Insurance

With AXA’s Domestic Helpers plan, you can be confident your employees and dependents are well protected.

Providing your domestic helpers with a medical insurance is not only mandatory but it is also a necessity.

AXA has been selected as a DHA (Dubai Health Insurance) participated insurer to provide you with Essential Benefit Plan, a customised health insurance plan designed to protect your domestic helper in case of illness or injury and you from high unexpected costs for Only AED 640.50 a year.


As soon as you use the services of a maid, gardener or nanny, you are legally obligated to insure your domestic staff. By Law, all members who hold a valid residence permit issued in Dubai or Abu Dhabi need to have health insurance coverage throughout the period of residency. (Law No. 11 of 2013).


To be eligible to take out an Essential Benefits Plan, you need to have under your employment (drivers, maids, gardeners or nannies) who have a valid Dubai visa and earn a gross monthly income of less than AED 4,000.
